ArmeniaWiki is a free, collaborative online encyclopedia dedicated to topics related to Armenia, its history, culture, geography, society, science and public life.
By accessing or using ArmeniaWiki, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
1. Purpose of ArmeniaWiki
ArmeniaWiki is created to collect, develop and distribute free and openly accessible knowledge about Armenia.
Our goal is to provide neutral, verifiable and educational content for the public.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing, browsing, editing or uploading content to ArmeniaWiki, you confirm that you:
- have read and understood these Terms of Use; and
- agree to be bound by them.
3. Free content and open license
Unless otherwise stated, all text content published on ArmeniaWiki is available under the following license:
Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).
This means that:
- anyone may copy, distribute and reuse the content,
- including for commercial purposes,
- provided that proper attribution is given to ArmeniaWiki and the authors,
- and any modified version is distributed under the same license.
Media files (images, audio, video, documents) may be published under different free licenses. The applicable license is shown on each file’s description page.
4. User contributions
By submitting or editing content on ArmeniaWiki, you confirm that:
- you are the author of the content or have the legal right to publish it;
- your contribution does not infringe copyright, database rights, privacy rights or any other rights of third parties;
- your contribution may be edited, moved, translated, reused or removed by other users or administrators.
You grant ArmeniaWiki and its users a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license to use your contribution under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
5. Responsibility for content
Each contributor is solely responsible for their own contributions.
ArmeniaWiki does not guarantee that:
- any content is complete, accurate or up-to-date;
- any article reflects official or professional opinions.
Content on ArmeniaWiki is provided for general information and educational purposes only.
6. Neutrality and verifiability
Contributors are expected to:
- write from a neutral and balanced point of view;
- rely on reliable and publicly available sources;
- clearly distinguish facts from opinions.
Original research and unpublished personal conclusions should not be added.
7. Prohibited content and behavior
You may not use ArmeniaWiki to:
- publish unlawful, defamatory or misleading material;
- upload content that violates intellectual property rights;
- distribute spam, advertising or promotional material unrelated to encyclopedia content;
- harass, threaten or abuse other users;
- attempt to disrupt the technical operation of the Platform.
We reserve the right to remove content and restrict access for violations of these rules.
8. User accounts
Some features of ArmeniaWiki may require registration.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your account credentials secure;
- all activity performed through your account.
We may suspend or block accounts that violate these Terms or community rules.
9. Removal and moderation of content
ArmeniaWiki administrators and moderators may:
- edit, move, hide or delete content;
- restrict editing privileges;
- block users when necessary to protect the project.
Such actions are taken in order to maintain the quality, neutrality and legal compliance of the encyclopedia.
10. Third-party content and links
ArmeniaWiki may contain links to external websites and references to third-party resources.
We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party websites.
11. No professional advice
Content on ArmeniaWiki does not constitute legal, medical, financial or professional advice.
You should not rely on ArmeniaWiki as a substitute for professional consultation.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
ArmeniaWiki is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make no warranties of any kind regarding:
- the availability of the Platform;
- the accuracy or reliability of the content;
- the absence of errors or interruptions.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArmeniaWiki and its operators shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from:

The current version will always be published on the ArmeniaWiki website.
Continued use of the Platform after changes means that you accept the updated Terms.
